Thesis: User-Centric Development and Evaluation of a Thermal Control Device for Office Use
Designed a prototype applying user-centered methods.
Developed functional prototype with 3D modeling/printing, electronics and programming skills.
Designed, executed and analyzed usability and user experience tests.
Documented and presented findings, highlighting insights that shaped the product’s development.
Acted as the first point of contact for students, providing support for technical and design issues, including troubleshooting problems with code, electronics and physical prototyping.
Oversaw project timelines, ensuring milestones were achieved as planned.
Assessed and prioritized teams needs to maintain steady project progress for all.
Utilized a range of prototyping tools, including 3D Printer, Laser Cutter, Figma, ProtoPie, and Arduino, to support and mentor students in their design and development processes.
Gained hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, and Node-RED for rapid prototyping and system integration.
Facilitated workshops and tutorials, simplifying complex concepts to enhance the learning experience.
Created new UI design teaching materials for a course that received high-quality teaching award.
Developed and optimized shared workspace usability and improved inter-team communication, resulting in a significant increase in user satisfaction and the efficient use of the shared workspace more than doubled.
